I think about a lot different things during the day. Sometimes , it's random, sad, or funny, and sometimes its a breakthrough. (Usually it is random.) And Sometimes, I like to talk about my life (though I think it is boring.) Take a trip through my cluttered mind, and beware of the author who has a broom and hyperactive imagination! (me)
I'm going to list your blog in my links...

CURIOUS GEORGE THE MOVIE IS ON!!!!
I love Curious George!!!!
*Staring at tv screen *
(This is really sad because I was supposed to be talking about how grateful I am for the little things in life.)
Correction : Being Grateful : Curious George
I am very grateful for Curious George because most of the cartoons for kids these days are either really stupid or really violent. But most of them are both!
About the show: George lives to find new things to discover, touch, spill, and chew. Everything is new to George and worth investigating. Of course, in George's hands that leads to trouble! While keeping the look and the feel of the original books, the daily series, ( that was made into a movie, WHICH I am watching!)expands George's world to include more characters centered around him. The first season was narrated by Emmy award winning actor William H. Macy.
Hey it's for little kids, but it's still a great show to watch. I love it.
Recently I read K'Jan's speech on her blog about mental illness and how little people know about it. I don't really know much about and it surprised me. She mentions how often everyone uses the term crazy and psycho. I know I use it all the time, constantly in my favorite phrases like : " You must be crazy!" or "Psycho!" or "crazy child" . And if I thought about it during the day, there are probably even more ways I say it.
Also the media does not decrease the number of stereotypes either. Like when you hear the news, they tell about someone who killed Bob (
oh no!!!!!) and three other people but they are claiming mental illness so its okay they killed them. Also, a lot of movies show "crazy" people killed off the naive teenagers one by one. So a lot of kids growing up seeing "crazy" as a reference to "dangerous."
I think that a lot of this misunderstanding comes from how everyone was raised and went through in life.
For example, I grew up knowing about slavery and the civil rights movement and African-Americans had to go through to have an African -American President... So if someone calls me a nigger,or says "Hey black girl" then of course I will be VERY offended and probably give you the pinky after berating you saying such a thing.
However, someone who grew up knowing nothing about all that might no think it is a big deal. But it is.
Calling someone a crazy for having mental illness is no better than calling someone a stupid jew, nigger, slanty eyes, or anything else.
Be open to other cultures and learn about them so you will know and be able to teach others.

To combat my rant about chain letters, I impulsively decided to post about how grateful I should be for Internet / and the World Wide Web. I can not imagine what life must of been life before the computer....
( typewriters confuse me ..... where is the backspace key ?) In fact, (really random) I was watching some show and power went out on the show. The family spent time together and stuff. The teen of the family had a essay for school and has using the computer to type it . Then of course the power went out before she could save it. So she freaked out until her mom made her use the typewriter. She typed on it all night and in the morning her dad came to check to see how she was doing. She said she was done, and then asked what she pressed to print it .( she didn't put any paper in before she started typing.)
Now I am not that slow about typewriters. Typewriters make me glad for computers. Sooo so , so very grateful.
Back to Internet, the Internet is sooo awesome! Before the Internet teens had to do research from books and encyclodpedias. Now you can find informations on any subject on the web! You can even read books online.... The Internet lets you interact with friends and family. The Great world wide web allows and to shop, travel, learn, and check emails. I am not saying it does not have it downsides ( chain letters), but I am very, very grateful.
